Winter at Alaska's Sheep Mountain Lodge
Winter season October 1 - May 1
Sheep Mountain Lodge offers a variety of winter accommodations for skiiers, snowmachiners, dog mushers, and other outdoor winter activity enthusiasts.
Premier Cabins are fully furnished with running water, private bath and shower, full kitchen. There are 4 Premier Cabins that comfortably sleep up to four guests in 2 queen beds. Two-night stay minimum on Premier cabin rentals. Winter rate for Premier Cabins is $149 + tax (5%), single or double occupany. $10 each additional guest. 2-night stay minimum.
Our Classic Cabins are dry in the winter; guests may use the shared bath and shower in the showerhouse building. There are 7 classic cabins that comfortably sleep 2-3 guests each. Winter rate for Classic Cabins is $99 + tax (5%), single or double occupancy. $10 each additional guest.
The Hillside House has six bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. The Hillside House is dry in the winter; guests may use the shared bath and shower in the showerhouse building. Hillside House winter rate is $250 + tax per night, up to 12 guests. 2-night stay minimum required.
New in 2012 - Our Guest House has 3 rooms each with 2 queen beds, shared bath. Guests use the shower house building for showers and toilets. $99+tax per night.
There is no foodservice at the lodge in the winter season. The main lodge building is closed to the public in the winter. Private parties of 12 or more guests may make prior arrangements for foodservice in the lodge on a reservation basis. Please call for details about your specific group, event or party of 12 -50 people if you would like foodservice during the winter season. Foodservice is available only to lodge guest groups of 12 or more during the winter season.
RV Parking is available during the winer seaon for $20/nt (power only).
Cross country skiing, dog mushing trails and snowmachine trails will be maintained for overnight lodge guests' use. Hot tub and wood stove sauna are also available for lodge guests. Trail access from Sheep Mountain Lodge is for lodge guest use only.
No pets or smoking in any cabins.
