Self Guided Hiking Trails and Wild Berry Picking

There are over 12 miles of trails near the Lodge perfect for exploring.  Birds and wildflowers abound. Maps are provided in each cabin for self-guided hiking.  In the fall (mid-August), wild berries such as blueberries, low bush cranberries, and crowberries can be found in great numbers within walking distance of the Lodge.  Fill a cup with fresh berries to have added to your pancakes in the Lodge restaurant or fill a bucket for jams and jellies to be made at home.

Salmon special was perfect and my husband loved his chicken dish. Alaskan beer – what more do you need?

This is a stunning location which the owners obviously take a lot of pride in maintaining beautifully.

We had the most wonderful time at your lodge, I’ve already recommended it as a getaway to a few couples in town and we want to thank you for a beautiful dinner too.
