Location Options:
Main lodge (restaurant and bar), multi-purpose room, deck, greenhouse and outdoor grounds. Sheep Mountain Lodge lounge shall remain open to the public during normal business hours. The banquet room can be rented out for a private party for an additional charge (5pm – midnight). We have found that 25 guests is the upper limit for a comfortable indoor gathering.
Room Blocks Summer 2024:
We have limited room blocks available for groups traveling to Glacier View, Alaska. These are perfect for groups and couples looking to take full advantage of tours and activities in the area. Micro-Weddings, small family gatherings, or glacier elopements are all within the realm of possibilities.
2-night options in varying cabin configurations
Accommodations:
15 total accommodations. 11 Private Cabins. 3 Guest House Rooms. 1 Mountain House.
Bed space for up to 50 guests.
Catering:
Full food, beverage (Beer & Wine) and baking services. Sit-down options available. There is a 25 person maximum for sit-down meals in our banquet room.
Wedding and Elopement Options
Sheep Mountain Lodge has been working hard with our partners to build one of the premier event venues in Alaska, Matanuska Glacier Retreat. For Elopements, Sheep Mountain Air offers helicopter elopements for groups of 2 or 3. Your pilot can offer both photo and ceremony options. Matanuska Glacier Retreat handles all large weddings and any elopements that require more than one flight out onto the glacier or into the surrounding mountains.
